We arrived into Sicily at night and drove 90 minutes in the dark to our seaside lodging near the town of San Vito de Capo. When we awoke the next day we discovered ourselves amid a seaside mountain paradise. The morning sun was shining on the Monte Colfano, rising 1500' straight up from the shore. We immeadiately knew we found someplace special. Later that morning I injured my knee trail running in the Zingaro Mountains about San Vito, so we headed to the Eastern flank of the Zingaro Reserve in search of secluded beached. There we discoved rosemary bushed the size of American cars and The Worlds Most Perfect Beach at the end of a 1km hike. After two days in Northwest Sicily we travel to Cantania on the Eastern shore of the island of Sicily. We spent the last day of our honeymoon sailing along the coast, swimming in the sea and reflecting on the previous two weeks. The honeymoon is over, but the adventure is just beginning!
